ISO 9001
Kenwood's philosophy - customer satisfaction depends of outstanding
quality, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery. With this policy
as a guide that keeps us focuses on excellence, KETM has achieved
the stringent quality standards represented by ISO 9002 recognition
in December 1997 and upgrade to ISO 9001:2000 in year 2002. Earning
this coveted award has strengthened the determination of KETM to maintain
the highest level of quality in all of its endeavors.
ISO 14001
Being responsible manufacturer and good corporate citizen, Kenwood
is particularly sensitive towards the impact of our operations to
the environment. Therefore, KETM has been making considerable efforts
to conserver energy, reduce industrial waste, and promote recycling.
These conscientious actions aimed at protecting the environment
has enable KETM to be awarded with the international environmental
standard, ISO 14001, in February 1999.
QS 9000
To meet the needs of truly global industry, Kenwood has develop
specific quality standards capable of implementation world wide
to meet the needs of a truly global industry. KETM has achieved
Quality excellence through business planning, implementation of
quality system, incorporating continuous quality improvement programs
to achieve competitiveness, and transformation of corporate culture
image to meet the goals of the company. Kenwood has achieve these
requirement and awarded the QS 9000 certification in June 2000.
ISO/TS 16949:2002
ISO/TS 16949:2002 is an ISO Technical Specification, which aligns
existing American (QS-9000), German (VDA6.1), French (EAQF) and
Italian (AVSQ) automotive quality systems standards within the global
automotive industry, with the aim of eliminating the need for multiple
certifications to satisfy customer requirements.
Together with ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949:2002 specifies the quality
system requirements for the design/development, production, installation
and servicing of automotive related products. In addition, there
are customer specific requirements that are required by individual
subscribing vehicle manufacturers. |
